Ottawa County Michigan Works serves three audiences: Businesses, Job Seekers and the Public.
The Michigan Works Business Services Unit tailors the perfect solution to fit a business' needs by partnering with economic developers, chambers of commerce and other local or regional experts. Receive competitive information, skills by geography, tax abatement information, and more. Michigan Works also performs HR tasks as an outsource service.
Job Seekers are assisted in a number of ways through the service center at 121 Clover Street, Holland. Clients are helped with placing their resume online and are provided job search tools. A number of free, employment-related workshops are available, and if job seekers qualify, tuition is available to increase job skills to compete in the new economy in the tough job market.
The public is welcome to use the computers, copier (5 copies) and fax machine as long as their use is employment-related.
